Shaman’s Staff

This is a strong example of a Toba Batak shaman’s staff. This rare staff still has its complete and original magic bundle consisting of powerful substances. The figure is classic in conception with an intense expression and well carved hands placed on the belly of its minimalist torso. The patina is deep from age and storage in the hut. In excellent condition.

This staff stands 80 inches tall.
The figure is 9.5 inches tall.
