Sago Bowl

This fine, slender and tapered bowl in the shape of a canoe exhibits true gracefulness. The “ prow “ of bowl is in the form of an abstract ancestor; while the classic Asmat motif cascades beautifully on both sides of the bowl. With a deep brown patina, this piece is in excellent condition.

The bowl is 31 inches tall.
