Reminiscent of a Giacometti; this shrine figure epitomizes pure raw sculpture. The profile of the piece grabs you with its proud face and crisp lines. Through generations of exposure and use; this iron figure has acquired a fine oxidized encrusted surface; that not only shows the great age of the piece; but gives the piece a great “earthy” quality.
