Warrior's Sword

Paiwan, Taiwan

The eyes are inlaid with bronze in addition to old bronze decorative tacks surrounding the handle ( some missing pieces from age and use ); the scabbard is equally as impressive; it is decorated with stylized figures with bodies that horizontally in a wave like motif morph together. By the quality of this sword; it is easy to infer that this was owned by a very important member of the tribe.
