Of classic cylindrical form; this miniature version of a Mwana Hiti doll is a fantastic example. The attention to detail is quite impressive; the minute face is beautifully rendered showing a deeply serene expression. The warm color of the wood is the result of decades of handling. To enhance its efficacy and beautify , it has been adorned with a strand of old trade beads. Mwani Hiti come in all sizes, but this miniature example carries the aesthetic weight of a large example through its details and pedigree.
