Standing under three inches tall this beautifully carved amulet is a fine example of Lombok artistry. The sculpture is extremely intricate; with sweeps and curves in the body and close attention paid to the toes and fingers. The face's naturalism is striking and highly emotive. The sculpture has a beautiful balance; the coiffure has an elaborate curving quality that blends perfectly with the sculpture as a whole.
