Lime Container and Spatula

The container is made of a gourd, with small shells adhered around its opening at the top. The bone spatula is decorated with nassus and conusshells and a pair of wooden amulet masks. The bone spatula has a thin shaft surmounted by a stylized double-bird head. Its quite rare to find spatulas of this fine quality that still has all of its attachments intact.
