This ma-go has a powerful presence. The carving is strong and the shape of the mask is very well balanced, with angular lines. The expression on the face is sublime, with its closed eyes and pursed lips it has an enigmatic presence. Carved from hardwood with a deep black rich patina from generations of use. It is in excellent condition.
