Provenance: Lawrence Grant, retired insurance executive who acquired this tun tun when he was working in Singapore between 1981-1985.
This is an exceptional example of a tun tun. Its expressive face with inlayed glass eyes and curvilinear body are elegantly stylized. The well-balanced proportions of this tun tun, make it a masterly carving. In between its legs the original magic bundle is still present, which is very rare to find. The wood is very hard and it has a dark crusty patina,
