Stopper from Shaman’s Magic Container

This is an excellent example of a Guri-Guri wooden stopper. This sculpture exudes presence with its superb features. The figure has a haunting expression and a coiffure with long braids extending to the lower back. Several finely carved ancestor heads surround the main figure which produces a dramatic image. The patina is deep and encrusted from years of use and storage.

This Stopper stands 6.5 inches tall.
