This is a very strong example of a Northern Nias Ancestor Figure.  Archaic in style; with an elaborate crown signifying true old world royalty. The expression on the face is mesmerizing; as if in deep contemplation.  The dry adze marks and deep patina on the sculpture speak to its early construction.  Important to note is the rare size of this example; it is larger than most on the market today.  In excellent condition.

This ancestor figure stands 15.5 inches tall.
