Pagar Figure

This Pagar figure wrapped in cloth and bird feathers is a very mysterious and magical object. The sculpture is composed mostly of horizontal and vertical lines, creating a powerful cubist image. At the bottom of the figure there is a square cavity that once contained magical substances. The patina is deeply encrusted from generations of use.
