Guri Guri Container

These containers were used by shamans, and the important magical contents were protected by finely carved wooden stoppers. Complete containers are now very rare to find. The wooden stopper on this example is classic in conception, with an ancestor riding a mythical Singa. The patina is deep and partly encrusted from decades of use.
