Made of bamboo with a rattan binding, this Comb is from the Geelvink Bay. Made by utilizing the lower portion of a single piece of bamboo, which has been separated into the teeth of the comb and held together with a series of rattan bindings. The decorated handle is adorned with the original animal hair detail. This comb would have been worn as decoration.
